Renowned artist Innocent Idibia, better known as 2Baba, recently embarked on a nostalgic journey back to the roots of his musical career. Visiting the historic Kennis 104.1 studio, where he curated his maiden album, 2Baba paid homage to his former mentor, Kenny Ogungbe, and the pivotal role the studio played in shaping his early success.
Revisiting the genesis of his musical journey, 2Baba fondly recalled the days spent crafting his debut masterpiece, “Face 2 Face,” within the walls of Kennis 104.1 studio, under the mentorship of Kenny Ogungbe and the banner of Kennis Music.
Reflecting on the profound impact of returning to the studio where it all began, 2Baba expressed, “This is the exact place where we birthed my inaugural album. It evokes a flood of cherished memories. Your ability to create an atmosphere of ease and comfort for everyone is an exceptional quality that still resonates to this day.”
