Lojay and Jae5 Collaborate on New EP ‘Loveless’

Following their successful collaboration on the infectious summer anthem I Wish with Libianca, Nigerian singer Lojay and British artist Jae5 are back with a new project. They’re not just gracing a single together, but embarking on a full-length journey with a collaborative EP.

The Nigerian singer, Lojay, and British artist, Jae5, are set to release a collaborative EP titled Loveless on Friday, March 8, 2024. The project marks their first album collaboration, and fans eagerly anticipate the new music. The duo will drop the lead single, Dishonest, on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, to prime listeners for the full EP.

Lojay and Jae5 announced that Dishonest was created alongside Zimbabwean singer and songwriter, Sha Sha and Tyler ICU. Fans expect an amapiano-infused release as Tyler ICU is the South African DJ and record producer known for the release of hit amapiano songs Dalie and Mnike.

2023 was a stellar year for Lojay. He released his critically acclaimed EP, Gangster Romantic, featuring the smash hit Moto, which garnered over 28 million streams. He also embarked on his first-ever Australian tour, captivating audiences with his smooth vocals and energetic performances. Additionally, Lojay solidified his place as a rising star by performing at prestigious events like The Felabration 2023, celebrating the legacy of the legendary Fela Kuti.

Now, Lojay teams up with Jae5, known for his collaborations with some of the biggest names in Afrobeats, including Wizkid and Stormzy. Their previous joint effort, I Wish featuring Libianca, was a fan favourite, and the anticipation for Loveless is high.
