In a remarkable show of support, Korra Obidi has garnered close to $50,000 within just 48 hours through her GoFundMe campaign. The purpose? To finance her legal endeavors in the impending court confrontation with her former spouse, Justin Dean.
The conflict arose when Justin secured image rights protection from Meta, prompting the removal of all videos featuring their offspring from Korra’s Facebook page, which subsequently lost its monetization privileges.
Reacting swiftly, Korra launched a plea for financial aid to contest this restrictive action in the legal arena.
In contrast, Justin openly acknowledged reaching out to Facebook and affirmed his resolve to shield their children from exposure on the platform.
Despite the ongoing legal tussle, Korra’s fundraising initiative has yielded significant results in a remarkably short timeframe. At present, she has amassed $49,346, steadily inching towards her $100,000 target. With donations pouring in from over 1,100 individuals, the highest contribution stands at $1,000, underscoring the depth of solidarity in Korra’s cause.
