Renowned singer and entertainer, Kizz Daniel, known for his adept handling of social media controversies, has responded to Tekno’s earlier comments regarding the financial aspects of their joint project, ‘Buga’. This response comes in the wake of Kizz Daniel’s prior engagement with a social media critic amid the Wizkid and Don Jazzy saga.
On Sunday, April 14, 2024, unsubstantiated rumors swirled on the now-deleted social media platform X, alleging that Kizz Daniel had disbursed royalties exceeding one billion naira to Tekno for their collaborative effort, with Tekno purportedly claiming a 50% share of the song’s proceeds.
However, Tekno swiftly refuted these assertions, expressing frustration at the dissemination of false information. In a statement, he vehemently denied the claims, adding a colorful denunciation: “His money doesn’t reach that level. Anyone who put out that fake interview, may thunder fire their mother…#Talkingshit.”
This denial prompted a direct and equally assertive rejoinder from Kizz Daniel, who retorted, “Dem mention money you sef dey talk… spewing shit like anus see ekuke way we rescue with BUGA !! Oloribu omo ale”
