Hip-Hop Artist NBA YoungBoy Arrested Charges of Prescription Fraud & Weapons Violations!
Renowned rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again found himself in the legal crosshairs after his arrest in Utah on multiple charges, notably including possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person and engagement in a pattern of unlawful activity.
These charges carry serious weight, classified as Class 2 felonies. Additionally, he faces allegations related to the procurement or attempted procurement of prescription drugs, identity fraud, forgery, and possession of other controlled substances.
Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, known professionally as YoungBoy, was apprehended by the Cache County Sheriff’s Office at 2:50 p.m., with authorities opting not to grant him bail.
Lt. Mikelshan Bartschi of ABC4 Utah disclosed that law enforcement executed a search warrant at the rapper’s residence on Tuesday morning. The FBI and Homeland Security were also instrumental in the search operation.
In a statement, Bartschi emphasized, “Due to the complexity of the investigation, we will not be releasing any additional details concerning the investigation.” He outlined the current criminal charges against Gaulden, notably mentioning a pattern of unlawful activity encompassing violations of the Utah Controlled Substances Act, the Identity Fraud Act, and fraud.
