Recent videos circulating online have depicted instances of Davido’s aide, Lati, engaging in physical altercations with fans.

One such video captured Davido, accompanied by his entourage, walking at an event when a fan, eager to capture the singer on their phone, was allegedly struck by Lati. The incident gained attention on social media platforms, prompting discussions regarding the treatment of fans by celebrity security personnel.

Social media, X user, Temitopepr shared a screenshot on Thursday, February 15, 2024, revealing that Lati had transferred funds amounting to ₦200,000 to the fan’s account as a gesture of apology. Temitopepr noted in the caption that Lati, using a burner account, reached out to the fan to offer an apology and compensation.

This development highlights efforts to address the situation and underscores the importance of accountability and reconciliation in incidents involving public figures and their fans.
